Margin Story (for the buyer)

The Pitch (30 Seconds)
"Hi, I'm Tadgh from Kildare Brewing Company. We're a local craft brewery in Sallins — we brew Electric Juice, it's a 5.5% hazy IPA, tropical, juicy, really sessionable. We sold it at Bloom last week and it flew. I've a sample here for you to try — can I leave it with whoever looks after your beer?"

If They're Interested

If They Say "We're Grand"

Common Objections
"We already have craft taps"
"That's great — means your customers already drink craft. EJ is different from what you've got. Have a taste and see if it earns a spot."
"We don't do kegs, only bottles/cans"
"No problem — we do 24-packs of 330ml cans at €55 ex VAT. Same beer, fridge-ready."
"Who are you? Never heard of you"
"We're Kildare Brewing Company, based in Sallins. We run Lock 13 Brewpub — it's the number one restaurant in Sallins on TripAdvisor. Been brewing 10+ years."
"What's the shelf life?"
"6 months on cans, kegs are fresh — we brew and deliver weekly."
"Can you do a better price?"
"Pricing is already sharp — you're getting better margin than Hop House or Rockshore. Let's get the first order in and see how it moves."

Your Daily Routine

  2. 09:30 — Arrive at first venue. Walk in. Ask for the manager or whoever buys the beer.
  3. 09:30-14:00 — Hit 4-5 venues before lunch. Log each visit in BlitzOS before you leave the venue.
  4. 14:00-14:30 — Lunch break. Review morning — who was interested? Any callbacks needed?
  5. 14:30-17:00 — Afternoon round: 3-4 more venues. Target bar managers who come on shift at 14:00-15:00.
  6. 17:00 — Done. Check BlitzOS stats. Send Barry a voice note: how many, who was hot, any orders.
Rules of the Blitz
  1. EJ only. Don't pitch the full range. One product, one pitch. Simple.
  2. Leave a sample every time. Even if they say no. It costs us a can. It might cost them a decision.
  3. Get the name. Always get the decision-maker's name and number. If they're not there, ask when they're in.
  4. Log every visit. Open BlitzOS, log it, move on. No logging = no credit.
  5. Speed beats perfection. Don't spend 20 minutes in one pub. 5 minutes max. In, pitch, sample, out.
  6. Orders by Tuesday. If someone says yes, order goes in Tuesday. Delivery Thursday.
  7. Don't sell. Let them taste. The beer does the talking. Your job is to get it in their hand.
When Someone Orders
  1. Log the order in BlitzOS — format, quantity, delivery day
  2. Barry gets a Telegram alert instantly
  3. Carol sets up the account + invoice
  4. Michael preps the order for delivery Thursday
  5. You deliver (or we arrange delivery)
  6. Follow up in 7 days — "How did it pour? Need a refill?"
